Travel & Stay

Flights

For those coming in from out of town, you are welcome to fly into either O’Hare (ORD) or Midway (MDW). Both are about a 30-minute drive to the wedding events, and Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis will be easy to find at both airports. There are also great public transportation options. From O’Hare, you can take the Blue Line to Clark & Lake, transfer to the Brown Line to Chicago, and then have a roughly 10-minute walk to Gold Coast. From Midway, you can take the Orange Line to State & Lake, and then transfer to the Red Line to Chicago, which will essentially land you in Gold Coast.

Gold Coast

We generally recommend staying in Chicago’s Gold Coast or River North neighborhoods, from which both the Friday and Saturday events will be walkable. However, Chicago is also expansive and there are a ton of other fun areas within a few miles where you could book a hotel or Airbnb, such as Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wicker Park, and West Loop. You could then either Uber/Lyft/taxi to the events or take the L or the bus.
